Hi, I'm Stephanie Yen
Good design shouldn't announce itself. I take complex, layered workflows and shape them into something that just feels inevitable — for the people who depend on them.

I joined Clari at 100 people — we're 1,300+ now. Over 8 years I've led 0→1 products that turn complex, cross-system workflows into tools non-technical users actually trust. Most recently I co-led the design integration prototype after the Clari–Salesloft merger. Before that: AI-powered Homepage, Automated Sales Workflow, AI Projections, Sales Analytics, and the first Self-Service Configuration Portal. Beyond shipping products, I've invested in how the team works: mentored junior designers through system-ready data visualization patterns, authored a component hand-off checklist that standardized what 'ready for engineering' meant across the team, and built the master mockup library that became the org's source of truth for product imagery.

Workflow RevampAutomated Sales Workflows
Killed a funded roadmap item with research, then redesigned the workflow system from scratch — driving 67% feature retention at launch.
AI Projection Explanation
Turned a black-box AI forecast into a narrative explanation — giving revenue leaders confidence to act on what they couldn't see.
AI Homepage
Orchestrated 4 designers across 4 cities to ship Clari's first AI-powered homepage in 3 months — framework adopted as the platform standard.
About
Strategic Product Designer who turns complexity into systems that scale.
I joined Clari when the team was around 100 people. The product now serves 1,500+ companies. Over 10 years of craft, I've been in the room for every 0→1 moment and the hard problems where no template exists yet.
Navigation, filters, and save views run across every surface of the product. Self-service configuration, data ingestion, multi-units view — each adopted where the product needed new infrastructure. I don't just ship features — I design the frameworks every team builds on.

Design philosophy
I design systems, not screens. The work isn't done until the complexity is invisible to the person relying on it.
How I work now
AI didn't just speed me up — it changed how I think.
Three areas where I've fundamentally rebuilt my design practice around AI tools.
Outside the frame
Rest, play, and getting inspired.
Outside of work, I'm most myself with family close by. I practice yoga to stay grounded, play badminton to stay sharp, and travel whenever I can — not just to see new places, but to come back with fresh eyes.
